INSTRUCTIONS
·With 3 assorted sizes of our ropes you will start out by choosing a length and thickness that fits snug in the bottom of the windshield between the dash and the glass. As well as being used in the rear windows.
·You will stretch the rope evenly across the dash leaving the ends of the ropes hanging out by the A pillars on the sides. Use a squeegee to push the rope down into the dash below the dot matrix line away from where your film will rest. No need to push the rope any further then your film cutout.
·You may now begin to prep and clean the glass prior to installation. Before installation you can now spray the glass with desired amount of slip solution to help with installation of the film. And then spray again on top of the film so your installation tools can easily slide to finish your install.
·Once you have finished installing the film, final squeegee, and cleaned up, you can now pull the SoakShield rope in an upwards motion.
·Do not pull straight out towards you as the edge of the dash will act an edge to press the water out of the rope and back into the dash.
·Once you have removed the rope from the vehicle you can bundle up all the rope in your hands and wring out the water that has been absorbed.
· Hang your SoakShield rope up to air dry and ready for the next use.
· SoakShield ropes are machine washable and dry if necessary. Wash in water not exceeding 86 degrees F @ Delicate setting. Tumble dry at low heat. Do not iron or press. Do not dry-clean.
· The rope can be placed under running water in a sink and hand washed.
It is suggested to wash out your ropes after 10 or more uses. This helps rinse out the soap solution the rope has absorbed. -- This way the rope does not become sticky from holding in all the soap. After rinsing you can just wring out and let air dry.
